John, one of our Chirk Training Day regulars joined us on the River Dee to target Grayling, a fish that he has hooked and played a few times but as yet never landed! John is a committed Buzzer fisherman and tier of some of the most exquisite Buzzers I’ve ever seen. He was keen to see whether his approach which is so successful on the still waters, would work on the free flowing Welsh River Dee. It did and not only did he catch his first ever grayling, he managed a few Trout and Salmon Parr too!
