The November CTD was again a fab affair with another full house of mixed ability anglers. This time out Steve spent the morning with beginners Rod, Phil, Janet and George helping them refine their casting technique and Trev spent time with the more experienced anglers John M, Jon D, John O, John F and Chiara (rechristened John for ease) looking at change of direction casts.

Our hosts Shaun, Becky and Jules again provided the perfect light lunch including a very welcome and warming soup and the afternoon was us usual spent pursuing the residents of the Oak pool.
At this time of the year and with the cool temperature on the day there was very little fly life around and most of the fish action was sub surface.

Our approach therefore was dominated by tiny nymphs and buzzers suspended beneath a variety of indicators. Whilst everyone connected with fish, John O was again top rod. John M (despite supplying many of the successful buzzer patterns) had a tough day by his standards. Well done to everyone and in particular Phil for landing his first Rainbow!
